Plans are in the works to bring the Myrtle Beach Jazz Festival back – but they are making changes to make it bigger and better.
The sounds of melodic jazz rang out on Carver Street Saturday as crowds ate, laughed, listened and shopped.
Thousands of people came to Carver Street to hear some of the area’s finest musicians, eat food from several different vendors and participate in kids activities.
Special guests for the event include South Carolina’s Ambassador of Jazz Music, Skipp Pearson.
The Myrtle Beach street that was once visited by Billie Holiday, Little Richard and Marvin Gaye will host a jazz festival for the first time.
