Charlie’s Place could soon be brought back to life with federal funding meant to reconstruct the area.
“Charlie’s Place” was owned and operated by Mr. Charlie Fitzgerald, who is legendary for helping to keep music alive in his supper club on Carver Street.
This history, and the current effort to remake Charlie’s Place into a community center and museum, is the topic of a new documentary by SCETV.
