Dates for the 2019 edition of the Myrtle Beach Jazz Festival have been released. Look for another weekend of music, food and fun on October 4-6, 2019.
Started as a free backyard jam four years ago, this event annually features an exciting slate of smooth, soulful, and edgy regional and local jazz artists. Music-loving audiences in attendance have hailed from all of South Carolina, North Carolina, Georgia, and beyond.
A celebration of jazz, culture, community and individuals from all walks of life, the Myrtle Beach Jazz Festival has also made it a top priority to help preserve the history of Carver Street. This cuturally important area was home to Charlie’s Place, a supper club that played host to the biggest names in music while providing an early showcase for the Shag, South Carolina’s official state dance.
The Myrtle Beach Jazz Festival is presented by Crossroads Event Productions. A complete lineup and other exciting news is still to come. To find out more about the event’s sponsors, click here. Like what you heard? Detailed information about last year’s performers can be found here.
