Third Annual Myrtle Beach Jazz Festival Headliner: Daniel D.

Get set for three days of live jazz, soul and R&B music as the third annual Myrtle Beach Jazz Festival returns to the Grand Strand on Sept. 28-30, 2018.

Once again, the festival is free. Bring your lawn chairs for this special event. In addition to all of the great music, there will be food and merchandise vendors, children’s activities and a wine and beer garden.

The first announced headliner for 2018 is contemporary violinist Daniel D., a three-time first-place winner at the Apollo Theater. The Charleston native has performed for President Barack Obama, Oprah Winfrey and Michael Jackson, made featured appearances on BET, and maintains a full-time touring schedule performing at many festivals, universities, theaters and corporate events.

More exciting lineup announcements are forthcoming, so check back here often. You can also follow the Myrtle Beach Jazz Festival on Facebook for all of the latest information.

  1. Daniel D” I follow him live. Awesome violinist with new and old school. He even spoke of looking for condo in myrtle beach area.
    He’s a local from Charleston S.C.
A must share. Money is tight right now, but I would 💘 love to purchase his music. Soothing at the end of a crazy day.
